Leather SSC | PAN INDIA
Empanelled partners will work with LSSC to:
• Mobilize and enrol eligible candidates for training.
• Provide industry-aligned training in leather, footwear, leather goods , leather garments and related sectors.
• Ensure adherence to LSSC training quality standards and compliance guidelines.
• Facilitate assessments and certifications as per LSSC protocols.
• Placement is mandatory as per the norms issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. In addition, post-placement tracking of trained candidates is also required for a period of one year. The post-placement tracking reports shall be submitted to Leather Sector Skill Council regularly.
The Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC), established under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), is mandated to skill, reskill, and upskill the workforce to meet industry requirements across the leather, footwear, and leather goods sectors. In line with our commitment to promoting skilling and employment opportunities, Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC) hereby invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible organizations, institutions, NGOs, educational institutions, industries, skill training providers, and implementation agencies across Pan India for empanelment as Training Partners for implementing various skill development programs and projects.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested organizations must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Mandatory Requirements
• Registered legal entity under applicable Indian laws.
• Experience in skill development, vocational education, training, apprenticeship, CSR projects, or livelihood programs.
• Availability of training infrastructure and operational capability.
• PAN, GST Registration and statutory registrations.
• Capability to mobilize and train candidates.
• Availability of trainers and operational staff.
Preferred Criteria
• NSDC/State Skill Mission affiliation.
• Prior experience in Government skill development schemes.
• Industry partnerships and placement track record.
• Experience working with women, PwDs, minority communities, and rural youth.
• Experience in apprenticeship and industry-linked programs.

Selection Process
The selection and empanelment process may include:
• Preliminary screening of documents
• Evaluation of organizational capability
• Infrastructure verification
• Technical discussions/presentations
• Due diligence by LSSC
• Final approval by competent authority
