Skill Development Program of Manual Scavengers/ Dependents under National Action for Mechanized Sanitation Eco System (NAMASTE) Scheme
The primary objective of this skill RFP is to rehabilitate identified Manual Scavengers and their dependants into alternative sustainable occupations through NSQF-aligned short-term skill development training programmes (up to 5 months duration). The training aims to provide market-relevant skills, facilitate third-party assessment and certification, and ensure minimum 70% placement (wage or self-employment) within 3 months of training completion. Additionally, the RFP seeks to empanel capable Training Partners who can mobilize, train, and place beneficiaries while adhering to strict quality and compliance norms.
As per MSDE Guidelines
Trainee Benefits 3000
1. Registration on NSDC SIDH/SMART Portal.
2. Mobilization of identified and eligible Manual Scavengers/dependants from the NSKFDC dashboard.
3. Infrastructure & Trainers: Provide required infrastructure, equipment, and TOT-certified trainers as per NSQF/SSC guidelines.
4. Training Delivery: Conduct NSQF-aligned short-term skill development training (up to 5 months duration).
5. Attendance: Ensure minimum 80% attendance of trainees.
6. Assessment & Certification: Conduct third-party assessment and certification.
7. Placement: Ensure minimum 70% placement (wage or self-employment) within 3 months from training completion.
8. Women Candidates: Cover at least 40% women candidates wherever possible.
9. Loan Linkage: Assist in linking trainees with NSKFDC loan schemes.
10. e-KYC Facilitation: Facilitate e-KYC of eligible beneficiaries for Ayushman Card generation (payment ₹50 per successful e-KYC + GST).
